Writer's picture: Maggie PetersonMaggie Peterson

Join us on April 26 @ 1PM for the celebration of the Museum's 40th anniversary and the opening of our new Century Farms: The Goin Family exhibit. This exhibit explores Millet's agricultural heritage through the experiences of the Goin family, over their 112 year stewardship of their land. Accompanying this exhibit is the Guardians of the Grasslands video game, created by the Canadian Cattle Association, and interactive activities like the crops and products matching game. Admission by donation.

Join us after the opening for our spring market and antique tractor showing. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be available for purchase, provided by the Millet Fire Department, with proceeds going to the Millet & District Museum. Thistlehill Petting Zoo will be onsite from 1:30-3:30PM.
